For those of you who fell in love with Emma

Emma Watson made quite the entrance at the UK film premiere of her new flick, Noah. Her white halterneck Ralph Lauren Collection maxi dress was the envy of every woman.

Unfortunately, we aren’t all as lucky as the Harry Potter star to have designer gowns on standby, so I’ve collected a few look-a-likes off the high street for you guys:

Best bikinis around

Since I’ve been being treated to weather like this…

Image

… I have realised with my love for tanning in the sun and my hatred of doing laundry means I cannot suffice with merely two bikinis. So, alongside finding myself new swimwear, I thought I’d share my favourites with everyone. Whether you’re already planning a summer getaway or are simply dreaming of the beach, check these pocket-friendly choices 🙂

 1. Tropical High Waist Bikini – Topshop – £34

Image

I love fruit in fashion. I have a lemon print dress, fruit stud earrings, a cherry print shirt and strawberry print converses. This bikini would be the perfect addition. The high waisted bottoms makes it even more flattering too.

2. Green Leaves Print Bikini – Primark – £7

Image

I may be biased as this is one of my two bikinis, but it is such a bargain from good old Primarni! It fits really well and the multi-strap allows you to choose your tan line 😉 Cheap but just as stylish. Primark is always good for bikinis I find; not long-lasting, but then again, who doesn’t change their bikini for each holiday?!

3. Kelly Brook White Gathered Bikini – New Look – £16.99 & £10.99 (top and bottoms separate)

Image

Simplicity in colour and design can be the best. This bikini is guaranteed to enhance or flatter your cleavage (Kelly Brook’s the designer, hello?) and white looks incredible with a tan. No excuses.

4. Peach Frill Front Cut Out Swimsuit – ASOS – £21

Image

Bikinis are all the rage and it is often forgotten that swimsuits can be equally, if not more so, sexy. If you can accept the inconvenient and unusual tan lines, cut-out swimming costumes are definitely the way to go and ensure that slightly more self-conscious girls can still look gorgeous.

5. Flamingo Print Bikini – Miss Selfridge – £26

Image I couldn’t resist the print on this bikini. Decent price for Miss Selfridge and the flamingos are just too cute. The standard triangle-shape bikini never fails either.

Enjoy!

This old thing…

So I was going through my wardrobes and drawers today; sifting through what I really don’t wear enough and should go to charity shops or eBay. I came across this cute halterneck top from River Island that I bought years ago, literally, I was 11 or something.

I was just about to list it on eBay when I thought I would try it on for old time’s sake, especially as it is a size 6 and what girl isn’t looking to boost her own ego after eating way too much at Christmas?!

It fits. It looks adorable. It is no longer up for sale.It kills me to have to put it up for sale. My conscience is definitely having a fight with my brain right now.

But whilst I debate; here it is:

Red Lipstick: Maybelline Colour Sensational in Fatal Red-£7.19
Black Skater Skirt: Topshop-£18
Hair: bed head wet-hair-in-a-bun mess of curls

Oh to be a Kardashian/Jenner girl!

I’m not the biggest reality tv fan but I definitely do not ‘keep up’ with the Kardashians. After being forced to watch an episode with friends and seeing Kris Jenner ungratefully decline a family holiday to Bora Bora because she could not have plastic surgery in time, I had no intention of regularly watching the show. But that does not stop me being jealous of aspects of their lifestyle, in particular Kylie and Kendall Jenners’ chance to star in a photoshoot in dresses to die for.

Modelling with half-sister Khloe, the girls donned absolutely gorgeous prom dresses in Malibu for a photoshoot. Kylie wore a nude ‘princess’ off-the-shoulder dress with a full skirt that fell to the floor. The sweetheart neckline of the dress and the corseted detail really showed off her figure, adding years on to the 16-year old. Kylie let her cleavage-accentuating gown do the talking as she kept her hair and makeup to simple waves and a vampy-purple lipstick.

KYLIE JENNER

Kendall was my favourite though; appearing all graceful and elegant in a vintage floor-length Alexander McQueen dress. The high halterneck at first makes the 18 year-old’s gown seem more conservative than her younger sister’s but the backless feature allowed for an essence of allure and with Kendall’s hair in soft waves, she pulled off an effortlessly sexy look.

KENDALL JENNER

Both girls looked stunning, I personally prefer Kendall’s dress but I wouldn’t say no to either taking up residence in my wardrobe!
