Your style piece

What’s your go-to when you get dressed? You know what I mean… The thing that always completes your outfit; the key piece that puts a signature on your style.

It could be impressively dangling earrings…or your favourite pair of now-battered-up brogues or ankle boots that go with every outfit you put together.

For me, my must-have comes in the form of my various quirky rings. I like to buy a new ring whenever I visit a different country, as I love having individual jewellery pieces; unique stuff that I won’t see on everyone else. No matter what trend I’m attempting to work, the rings will always decorate my fingers. I have enough for one on every finger and sometimes I feel in that kinda mood.

Another thing I often have on me is something in my hair. Flowers, feathers, bows-I’m not really fussed. Depends which will cover up the majority of my bad-hair-day most of the time! My all-time favourite is the aforementioned turquoise and white silk scarf. I still can’t believe it came free in a girly magazine from yesteryear. I also love my large bow headbands, which can be purchased from anywhere, but I particularly like the design and quality of Johnny Loves Rosie. Flower garlands or flower headbands are also easily attainable from this online store or places like Accessorize, Topshop and New Look. I especially love weaaring these when the weather is particularly warm; after all, why should a bun be boring?

It’s a nice feeling, knowing you have that ‘thing’, that bit of personality and individuality that you incorporate into your style each and every day. Experiment with your unique style piece.

My Spanish/Flamenco dress

With the weather being so miserable, venturing outside your house will guarantee you both freezing and resembling a drowned rat. Hence why this outfit lacks Christmas spirit or winter style! Lavishly expensive…but it holds a permanent position on my wish list. Feel free to purchase as an anonymous Christmas present for me 😉
